It is great pleasure to invite you to the “International Biodiversity & Ecology Sciences Symposium (BioEco2019)”, which will be held on 26-28 September 2019 in İstanbul, Turkey. We would be highly delighted with your participation. We would also be thankful if you could inform your colleagues about the symposium and encourage them for participation.

Please note that an author can submit and present a maximum of 2 papers for the symposium. There is no extra cost for the second paper by the same author. All contributions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and they reserve the right to decide the form of presentation (oral/poster) in case of the scope of the presentation or timing.

Deadline for the submission of the presentation is 20.08.2019. Abstracts of accepted presentations will be published free of charge in an e-book of symposium proceedings or following a peer-viewed evaluation, selected papers will be published in one of the following journals according to the choice of the author(s); Detailed information can be obtained through the web site of the symposium.

As the organizing committee, we would be honored and very pleased to see all who are interested in biodiversity & ecology sciences from related institutes, universities, ministries, and non-governmental organizations.

Presentation Title: Crustacean alien species in the E. Mediterranean and their impact in the marine environment
SHORT CV:
Kostas Kapiris is a Research Director in the Fisheries Sector of the Institute of Marine Biological Resources and Inland Waters (IMBRIW) of the Hellenic Centre of Marine Research (HCMR), since 1996. During the last 23 years, he is working on the biology and ecology of deep-water and coastal crustaceans, small-scale fishery species, benthic and pelagic fishes, on the assessment and management of decapod crustacean in the Greek Seas and in the Mediterranean. He has participated in many scientific projects and in many scientific papers.
